There is a need for theory though. Without the theoretical groundwork it is impossible to access the higher marks.
You need to conduct research into representation theory and the concept of the Male Gaze (Mulvey). Also, what messages do these lifestyle magazines convey about what it is to be a woman? Research into Audience Theory will also enable you to address the question of the PURPOSE of these magazines - which is to sell you stuff!
